Do you have insurance?
Yes I have public liability insurance up to $5mil, professional indemnity cover, photography equipment cover, legal expenses cover and equipment breakdown cover.
Where are your sessions held?
Unless it’s a mini session at a set location, the landscapes of Calgary, Kananaskis, and Canmore are our playground—mountains, meadows, and skies as far as the eye can see. We’ll talk through any place that feels meaningful to you before booking. Please note that travel costs may apply.
What are the ideal stages/ages for Maternity and Newborn sessions?
Maternity - Ideal pregnancy stage is around 35 weeks. This gives a good sized bump without being too close to the delivery date.
Newborns - Ideal newborn ages are 1-2 weeks for those sleepy squishy faces.
Please ensure you book your session with plenty of notice to avoid disappointment.
I would like to discuss hiring you for a Studio or Location session, what are the next steps?
Feel free to drop me a message with which session you would like to have and any dates you have available, and we can arrange a session from there. I require full payment and a signed contract to secure any session.
I would like to discuss hiring you for my elopement/wedding, what are the next steps?
Please drop me a message with the dates and location of your wedding, and how many hours of coverage you think you may want, and we can discuss from there. A signed contract and 20% deposit is required to secure your booking with me.
Want to meet in person or via zoom to chat? No problem, just drop me a message and we'll get it arranged.
Do you bring back up equipment when shooting?
Yes, I bring 2 cameras, extra lenses, batteries and memory cards. Your images are in good hands!
I would love a Family session with you, but I have no idea what to wear, can you help?
Yes, all my clients receive an outfit guide to help prepare for the session.
Can you photograph my baby if they are past the newborn stage
Absolutely, since your little one has grown past the newborn stage, their session will look a bit different from a traditional newborn photoshoot. While we won’t capture those sleepy, curled-up poses typical of the first two weeks, we’ll focus on showcasing their emerging personality, expressions, and milestones in a way that’s just as special and timeless.
Can I see examples of full galleries before I book you?
The short answer is no. I select images to advertise my work, however full galleries are private and personal, and I will not share a couples wedding day or a families special moments with others. If you are unable to decide if I am the right photographer for you based on my portfolio/consultation then that's a sign that I'm not right for you.
Do you have any additional chargers?
Gas costs-
This is for any Wedding or Location photography outside of Calgary/Canmore/Kananaskis which will be quoted to you before you book.
Travel and accommodation costs-
This will apply for Elopement photography which will be quoted to you once I have all the details of your day and before booking.
